Groups not affiliated with the University of Toronto are welcome to stay in our downtown campus housing during the summer months (mid May to the end of August). Experience living on the beautiful and charming University of Toronto campus. Guests are housed in traditional student residence halls with buffet-style dining in campus dining facilities. A wide range of options, such as catered barbecues, classroom and meeting facilities, computer lab access, security services and other special services, are available.

Accommodation

The New 45 Willcocks Residence, was built in 2003 by the renowned Saucier and Perrotte architectes. A traditional dormitory-style residence, it is primarily used for group bookings during May and June, and can accommodate 200 guests in air-conditioned single rooms (a few double rooms). Please see Facilities and Amenities for added features.

Wilson Hall Residence, a traditional dormitory-style residence is also used for group bookings and can accommodate 300 guests in a combination of air-conditioned single and double rooms (double rooms have two single beds in them). Please see Facilities and Amenities for added features.

Both residences are right beside each other and within walking distance to many tourist attractions, museums, theatres, art galleries and the main shopping areas. Both residences are only seconds from streetcar and subway routes that can take you to anywhere you wanted to go in the Toronto area.

Meeting Rooms

New College Residence also offers a number of meeting or event rooms with the largest holding around 250 people- a recently built state-of-the- art theatre-style auditorium with retractable seating located in our new 45 Willcocks Residence. For meals, a recently renovated dining hall is conveniently located in Wilson Hall Residence. Use of general audiovisual equipment, computer lab access and other service such as catering may also be arranged.
